 Funeral will be held on Saturday, December 15 at 11 am at the South Cottonwood Stake Center, 1250 east 4800 south, SLC UT.

 Viewing will be held Friday, December 14 from 6-8 and from 9:30- 10:30 on Saturday at the Stake  Center.

 I went to a volleyball match and ran into Nolan Schofield. He has one granddaughter playing for the University of Utah (Chelsey Schofield Cory's Daughter) and one playing for Southern Utah (Kylie Scofield Jeff's daughter). They played each other at Utah State and Nolan was there displaying this sign supporting both!

  I loved the cousins party also.  It is so much fun to get together and renew our family ties.  Always lots of fun and lots of laughs.  Thanks Steve and Mareva for hosting this years party.  Your yard is beautiful!! And even though mom doesn't remember going, she seemed to have a good time while she was there.  I loved the info Bonnie shared with us, and the stories from Big Verns were hilarious!  Love you all!!    Karen      P.S.  I am trying to get the engraving caught up on the golf trophy.  Please let me know if you won the golf tournament in 2008, 2009, or 2010.

I am so sorry I missed the cousins party AGAIN this year. Suzanne's comments reminded me that a few years ago my then husband attended a reunion and his comments to his family and friends was "I cannot believe how 'clean-cut' the WHOLE family is and how much love and closeness they share. It has always been a privilege to belong to such a wonderful family who is full of concern for each other!  I am sure my wonderful aunts Cumora and Geniveve represented the Gardner clan with love, class and grace. I would have loved to see everybody but I know Diane represented the Mallory's. Isn't she beautiful?? And, she has more than enough energy for both of us. I love her and all my Gardner family so much.

It is always so affirming to look around at the counsins gathering and feel a sense of connection, loyalty, and love for people with whom one shares a common genetic code and heritage.  I love getting together with my cousins and their spouses.   Of course, to be with our Aunts  is also such a privilege.  Touching base and lots of hugs are the highlights for me at the Cousins Party.   Plus, everyone looked great.  Pretty hairstyles, nice attire, and, especially for me, Sally was able to come!

This is the last call for entries for the 2012 Gardner Open Golf Tournament to be held June 16, 2012 at the Davis Park Golf Course in Fruit Heights, Utah. Tee times will start at 1 PM. Meal: Potluck

Those with surname Gardner please bring main dish—meat or vegetable casserole 

Those with surname beginning with letters A-M please bring salad

Those with surname beginning with N-Z please bring dessert

George and Del will furnish drinks

We don’t want to be too rigid about assignments.  If you have a dish that is a special favorite regardless of category, please bring it.

Eating utensils (paper and plastic) will be provided.

Program: Mostly visiting, but there will be opportunity to report special family matters (births, weddings, special recognitions, etc.).  There may be additional program items that will be arranged for as the date approaches, but they will be short and sweet!
