HAPPY BIRTHDAY! GEN 90th

Genevieve Gardner Bullard will celebrate her 

90th birthday 

on April 25th. 

Friends and family are invited to attend an 

open house from 6:00 - 8:00 that evening at 

the Clinton City Community Center, 

1651 W. 2300 N, Clinton.

Genevieve was born on April 23, 1923 to 

Brigham D. Gardner and Maria Blacker 

Gardner in Afton, Wyoming. She is the 12th 

child of 13 children.  During WWII she and 

her sister, Maxine, took jobs in Washington 

DC.  They later joined the US Marine Corps 

Women's Reserve.  While stationed in Santa 

Barbara, California she met and fell in love 

with a young marine.  On January 20, 1945 

she married Claude Leslie Bullard. Their 

marriage was later solemnized in the Salt 

Lake City Temple.  Together they enjoyed 

over 65 years of marriage before his passing 

in July of 2010.
