Dear Family: The last time I saw Vernie he ran up to me wanting to know where Gene was!! That has been a few years back at a family reunion. Always excited and smiling! I have known Vernie since he was just a little guy with curly, curly hair and beautiful eyes. I babysat Vernie, Karen and Alan before their brothers and sister were even born. It was Vernie, Vaughngee, Sissie (Cecile), Jane, Karen and Gene running through Grandma's house and causing commotion. Of course, I was the one trying to keep them out of trouble. I love my Aunt JoAnne so much. She and all of Vernies brothers and sisters have been so supportive and loving to each other. I hope they know how much their family is loved and how sad it is to say goodbye to Vernie. Vernie was always happy wherever he was and he loved whoever he was with. Much love, Joane

It makes me so very sad that Vernie is no longer with us. He was such a
special person. I will never forget that smile of his. I remember when he
was very young in Star Valley and lived so close to us. We love Aunt Joane
and all her family so much. I'm sure he's having a great time with Uncle
Vern and my parents will be very glad to see him. Diane

Dear Ones,
I am so saddened today to hear of the death of Vernie. I haven't seen him in
quite a while but shall always remember the cute boy that he was. I am so sorry
to lose another one of us!! I trust Aunt JoAnne and her family know how much we
love and care for you. Keep us posted. Lovingly, Julia

Greetings Cousins,
I am extremely saddened by this news. Just two weeks ago I was telling my wife
Margie how fond I was of Vernie, and how he literally saved my life as a child
(and Alan's at the same time).
With love,
Vaughn (Dorothy's son)

I would like to express my condolences to JoAnn and her family. Vernie was a champion and he always seemed so happy to me. He made a good life with all of his trials. Give them all my love.

I, too, was saddened by Vernie's death. I hope Aunt JoAnne is doing okay.

Vernie attended the Weber South Special Needs Mutual. He loved dancing with the Jazz dancers.
