Dear 66 cousins! It is with much sadness and pain that I write to tell you of the Passing of Lonnie's wife Ardene. She passed this morning just after Midnight. I cannot tell you enough about knowing someone over 38 years of my 50 year life, and have her gone in an instant. Ardene Ressler Bullard died at the IHC hospital in Salt Lake City with 7 out of her 9 children, two of them on missions in South Africa and the MTC learning Spanish for a Mexico city mission. This was one of the Greatest Women I have ever met. She gave all of herself to her children and her relationship with Lonnie was as if they were still dating each other. I never saw such mutual caring, selflessness and respect between two people. Please pray for Lonnie and his children that they may all find comfort in God! We thank or Lord and Savior for having allowed this wonderful light to shine on our lives and the lives of all those she came in contact with. Corey D Bullard

We have had a wedding. Cory's daughter Jennifer was married on July 10, 2009 to Derek Bruton in the Provo Temple. We had a good time seeing our granddaughter married. Sorry about the message that is like this one...I am still learning the computer ways....Love Linda Gardner Schofield

The latest happenings in the Ron and Nancy Safsten family are: 1. Victor McKenzie, Lori's husband, has just been deployed overseas. He's an Air Force Staff Sergeant who is an Airplane Maintenance Supervisor. 2. Kathryn and Blake Yerman have just moved from Kaysville to Farmington. 3. Jessica and two neices, Chelsea and Rachel McKenzie, are off to Costa Rico for an adventure! 4. Heather and Rich Jackson's twin daughters are now 3 months old and greatly loved by their five brothers and sisters. 5. Julianna and Aaron Westberg's business, Speedhut, is located in Lindon, Utah. 6. Kenneth and Heather live in Arizona where he is a Project Manager with American Express. 7. While working for Continental Airlines, Rebecca is also a student at the University of Utah studying to be a speech pathologist. 8. Samantha and Craig and their 1 year old son, Aiden, live in Logan where Craig is in training to become a police officer. 9. Nancy is returning to teach her little darling 7th graders English. :) :) 10. Ron continues to enjoy retirement while working part-time for Speedhut, Julianna and Aaron's business.

The Brigham Delos and Lorean Gardner Family Reunion was held on August 7 and 8 in Sandy. All seven children of Delos and Lorean were present, including Harold and Marilyn of Cheyenne and Julia of Glenrock, Wyoming, and many of their children and grandchildren. We missed Nola Jean and Garth this year. The Leavitt Family was in charge. It was delightful!!



Yes, we have a wedding in our family. Nate Rex Reasch will wed Kristen Michelle Lee in the Bountiful LDS Temple, August 15. Nate is the son of Larry and Bobbi Reasch, of Sandy, and is the grandson of LaNiel Reasch, also of Sandy. Kristen is the daughter of Roger and Denise Lee of Willard. Nate served a mission in Peru and is now attending Utah State University. Kristen also attends Utah State.



The four sisters, Vivian, LaNiel, Marjorie, and Julia, along with Hank and Marilyn enjoyed a trip to New York City in May--courtesy of Hank. We had a ball! What a treat! Vivian had knee replacement surgery in July and Julia is going to have a second knee replaced on the 19th of August

Cumora will be having her 90th Birthday, Sept. 19th, 2009. Everyone is invited to come.
