1934 ~ 2013
Beloved mother, grandmother, Kayleen (Kay) Clasby, passed away March 23, 2013 peacefully, surrounded by her family. Kayleen was born August 15, 1934 in Afton, Wyoming to Dorothy Gardner. Kayleen attended school in Wyoming graduating from Glenrock High. She married Jimmie H Clasby on November 22, 1952 in Casper, Wyoming; their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple on May 29, 1959. She was a member of the LDS Church and served in various callings, librarian being one of her favorite. Kayleen is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Jimmie H Clasby, and her mother, Dorothy Cleghon.
Kayleen is survived by her children, James Clasby, Liz Wing, Clay Clasby, Larry Clasby and Darla (Driss) Cherkaoui; her sister, Cecile (CB) Stephens-Juarez (Benny) and her brother, Vaughn Cleghon (Margie); nine grandchildren and 3 1/2 great grandchildren. Kayleen loved to cook, a great cook always trying new recipes, every holiday was a "surprise" and a pleasant surprise sitting down to the table with mom. She had a keen sense of humor with a BIG HEART and loved to do her gardening, filling the yard full of beautiful flowers, trees and shrubs. 
Funeral Services for Kayleen will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Granger 15th Ward, 2835 South 2855 West. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the Ward. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.www.valleyviewfuneral.com

 Funeral will be held on Saturday, December 15 at 11 am at the South Cottonwood Stake Center, 1250 east 4800 south, SLC UT.

 Viewing will be held Friday, December 14 from 6-8 and from 9:30- 10:30 on Saturday at the Stake  Center.
